Today I switched my website “theme”, which is quite a big part of how a site looks! I had to do it really fast, in case any of you were trying to use my website 😅
I used to use the Pen theme (see the below pics), but a few things prompted me to switch to Astra.

Some differences I’ve noticed so far are..
Pen
- Animations for everything
- Bulky buttons, especially in the comments section
- Floating content blocks
- Header image options, more places to put my artwork
- Rounded corners on things
- Change every colour for each object
Astra
- No loading animations
- Sleek buttons and neat comments section
- Also has floating content blocks, but can be switched to solid pages
- Mostly blank or gradient colour options, not images
- Sharp, square corners
- Easy to manage site-wide theme colours
