8cm across and maybe 5cm thick, these coasters have the outline of a sleeping cat inside them. They are very sturdy and made of reused bamboo wood.
In order to make these, we traced the cat outline from our 3D printed Cat Coaster product in Adobe Illustrator, then imported it into the software used for the co2 laser cutter. Then our very helpful friend who owns the laser cutter printed the coasters for us. It took a bit of testing to get the right speed & strength, but they come out very nicely! We then used wetwipes to remove the soot from the top, bottom, and sides, so that it wouldn’t make a mess.
